The Apple iPhone, announced today at Macworld 2007, is years ahead of it's time. It's everything I ever wanted in a phone! Actually not quite, as it appears to be launching on Cingular first with EDGE , and EDGE just isn't as fast as Sprint and Verizon's EVDO. But it does have built in WiFi, so that might make up for it. And it has Google Maps! But sadly no built in GPS :( OK, so maybe it isn't perfect, but it looks like it will be far better than any other phone currently available.
